Q: WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?
Personal callers can buy tickets from Caffery’s Menswear, Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness, IV2 3PP.
Tickets can also be purchased at the entry gate on the day of the event.

Q: WHAT TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE?
A: General Admission ONLY. Subject to availabilty.
There will be a seated stand available by upgrading on the day for £5.
Q: WHERE IS THE EVENT TAKING PLACE?
A: Piping Inverness will be held in Bught Park, Inverness, IV3 5SR on Saturday 27th June 2020!
Q: WHERE CAN I DROP OFF AND PICK UP?
The drop off and pick up point it outside Inverness Leisure Centre which is a short walk to the public entrance to Piping Inverness.

Q: WHERE CAN I PARK?
A: We have a Park & Ride which is conveniently located for people travelling from the East Coast along the A96 and from the South on the A9. The Park & Ride will be signposted on all major routes coming into the City of Inverness.
You will be dropped off outside Inverness Leisure Centre which is a short walk to the public entrance to Piping Inverness.

Park & Ride prices and timings will be announced closer to the date.
Dogs are allowed on the bus, but no more than one dog is allowed on at a time and they must remain on the floor.
Disabled parking is available on site (no ticket required) to Blue Badge scheme holders only.
The disabled car park is only able to accept standard car sizes and we are unable to accept any vehicles larger than a standard car due to ground conditions.
Car Parks - There is no parking on site, however, local parking is available, which is close and within walking distance to Bught Park. Charges may apply.
The closet car park to Piping Inverness is the Highland Council Head Quarters. Parking charges are as follows: PAY & DISPLAY PARKING all day Saturday and Sunday. Up to 4 hours - £3.00, Up to 10 hours £4.00, Up to 24 hours £5.00.

A: You need to contact the ticketing agency that you purchased your ticket from.
Q: WHAT TIMES DO GATES OPEN?
A: Gates open at 9.30am.
Q: IS IT JUST A PIPING COMPETION?
On Saturday the piping competition is accompanied with lots more to see and do: , European Highland Dancing Championships the Drum Major competition, a Family Zone and much more! There will also be traders onsite selling souvenirs, gifts and crafts. Please see map attached at bottom of page.
Q: ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO ATTEND?
A: All children under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 and be in posession of a ticket.
Children under 12 years old are admitted free of charge and DO require a ticket.
Q: ARE PETS ALLOWED INTO THE EVENT?
A: If patrons do bring dogs to the event we would ask that you follow the guidelines below:
• Dogs must be kept under control and on a leash at all times
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after dogs so please remember to bring your own bags
• You may be asked to leave the event if you do not keep your dog under control
• Dogs should not be left unattended in vehicles
Watering stations will be available.
Q: WHAT CAN I BRING IN TO THE VENUE?
A: Wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walking sticks, blankets, people requiring assistance on crutches are all permissible into the venue.
Q: ARE WE ALLOWED TO BRING FOOD, DRINK, CHAIRS OR UMBRELLAS?
A: In accordance with licencing and our T&C's, these items are allowed into the event, however NO GLASS is permitted on the premises.
You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol, however licensed bars will be available on site.
Full bar and catering facilities are available at the event.
Guests are responsible for the security of all personal belongings.
Q: WILL THERE BE TOILETS AVAILABLE?
Yes, there will be toilets situated around the Park.
Q: CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?
A: No professional cameras, or cameras with zoom lens are allowed into the arena.
Q: IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
City Centre parking is recommended. Disabled parking is available close to venue. A map will be issued in due course. For more information, click here.

Q: WILL THERE BE A CASH MACHINE AVAILABLE TO USE AT THE EVENT?
A: No cash machines will be provided at the event.
Q: IF IT RAINS, WILL THE EVENT STILL GO AHEAD?
A: Yes, events are only ever cancelled due to the weather conditions if conditions become dangerous.
The Event is outdoors. You are strongly advised to bring appropriate clothing and footwear to protect against potential inclement weather.
Remember the do's:
- Do have your ticket with you at all times
- Do bring clothing suitable for all weather conditions
- Do put any rubbish in bins provided for you
- Do look for official merchandise and concession outlets - all located within the venue
- Do avoid unlicensed traders outside of the grounds offering inferior goods
- Do consider others when moving around the venue
- Do consider local residents when entering and exiting the venue
- Do tune into local media for traffic updates
Remember the dont's:
- Do not smoke outside of the designated smoking areas
- Do not leave valuables on display in your vehicle
Please be aware that roads and car parks in and around Inverness are expected to be very busy on the day of the event. You should allow plenty of time to travel to the site and make your way to the venue, car parks etc.
The organisers or their partners cannot be held responsible for delays getting to the venue or getting out of the venue.
Please follow signs and instructions from Police and safety stewards.
Before buying tickets it's really important to double check all the event details and make sure you're 100% happy before going ahead.
